Raj Sardana is the chief executive officer of American CyberSystems, Inc. He is a successful entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience working with multinational companies in several industries including investment and workforce management. Raj founded American CyberSystems in 1998 and has grown it to a multinational organization with over 6,000 employees in 25 different countries worldwide. He has amassed considerable contract labor compliance and independent contractor classification services experience with the largest Fortune 100 clients over the last decade.
Before founding American CyberSystems, Raj served as president and CEO of Applied Communications, Inc., a multimedia and technology company in Atlanta, Georgia. He also served as president and CEO of a multimillion dollar venture capital company with a diverse and extensive investment portfolio in real estate, retail and service industries. Additional industries served include technology, aviation, defense, venture investment and financial services.
Raj has a master's degree in technology from Georgia Tech and an Advanced Management degree from Wharton School of Business. He brings strategic vision and extensive experience in both U.S. and offshore markets.
Chief Sales Officer
Brian has over twenty two years of business development experience at leading workforce management and staffing companies. He is a recognized solution sales leader in the staffing industry known for delivering on customer expectations and growing sales organizations. Brian is a key addition to the HireGenics team focused on delivering Independent Contractor Classification and Payrolling "Software as a Service" (SaaS) solutions to enterprise organizations.
Previous business development experience includes driving MSP sales of more than $3B in contract labor spend to over sixty of the largest organizations in the world while with Chimes and Bartech Workforce Management. Brian has been responsible for both growing existing business and successfully developing sales strategies for new lines of business. He brings a unique understanding to the sales process that is dictated by selling solutions that focus on the success of the customer.
Brian holds Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin.
P. Nick Goel
Chief Accounting Officer
Nick Goel is the chief accounting officer and senior vice president for American CyberSystems, Inc. He joined parent company American CyberSystems (ACS) in June 2005 as controller.
His earlier career included 15 years with The Bedford Group, a company he co-founded, which was focused in Executive Search and Human Resource Consulting. He started his career with Procter & Gamble in Sales. He holds a BA degree in Economics from Lafayette College.
Nick's previous financial and control experience includes working at Claredon Textiles, Inc. and STI Sanoh Ltd. (a subsidiary of Steel Tubes of India), where he successfully handled all financial, accounting and general administration duties. He also served as general manager of finance for Girnar Fibres Ltd., India, which he joined upon completing the CPA certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi in 1995.
Nick has a B.A. degree in accounting from G.N.D. University in India. He is licensed as a certified public accountant from the Colorado State Board of Accountancy. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Vice President of Operations
Terry was named to his current role in October of 2008. Terry's responsibilities include leading the delivery of development and support efforts in our rural facilities, as well as overall operation of our rural centers. Terry is a veteran of CrossUSA, having joined CrossUSA in December of 2000. In Terry’s time with CrossUSA, he has been involved in all facets of our organization, from leading development and support efforts, to starting new engagements, to account management and growth.
Terry began his career in Information Services as a programmer working for Ecolab, in St. Paul, MN in 1983. His career at Ecolab progressed through work efforts of greater responsibility, touching many aspects of information systems, from new development efforts, to providing cost effective application maintenance, both in hands on as well as leadership capacities. Following his stint at Ecolab, Terry was the owner of his own business for 3 years, gaining experience in developing, running, and growing a business.
Terry brings over 25 years of experience in IT to his role as the leader of our Operations. Terry’s philosophy in the leadership and guidance of teams is founded in his daily emphasis on the three C’s with our organization; Consistency, Communication and Customer Service.
Director of Operations
Doug Michelz became a member of our corporate team in September of 2009, filling the role of Operations Manager of the Eveleth Facility. Doug leads the Eveleth facility from a customer relations, project delivery, human resource, and facility standpoint. He brings twenty-five years of IT background to his new role as Operations Manager of the Eveleth facility.
Previously, Doug has primarily worked in the financial vertical throughout his career — banking, insurance, and the like. Most recently, he specialized in the areas of operations and Information Risk Management at Northwestern Mutual Life.
Doug graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Business degree in Management Information Systems in 1986. He has two daughters — one in college and another on her way soon. Doug is very active in his church, and various fraternal organizations, which occupy much of his free time.
Head, Sebeka Development Center
Jim Knight has been with CrossUSA since our beginning in 1998 and has been involved in nearly every aspect of the business. He started out as a Team Lead on CrossUSA’s first account. He has been involved in new business assessments, starting new teams, and facility management.
Prior to CrossUSA, Jim was the Information Director for Wadena County for 1.5 years. Before Wadena County, he worked for Prudential Insurance in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. He was also involved in starting up an Internet Service Provider company in 2000. Jim has 30 years in the software industry. His primary expertise is in the Mainframe environment, but he has worked with AS/400’s, Web Development, and performed the duties of a network administrator.
After hours Jim enjoys many outdoor activities which include fishing, hunting, camping, ice fishing, and getting together with friends. Just about every day, Jim and dog “Boof” take a walk in the fields and forests surrounding his home. When the fish are biting he has a 10 minute commute to one of Minnesota’s premiere Walleye fisheries.
